Im looking for a portable hard drive. Anyone seen any good deals? It doesn't have to be massive in storage 80Gig would be more than enough for my needs :beer:

From experience, I can only recommend you avoid anything not made by a well-known HDD manufacturer. I bought a "Cooler Polar HDD Caddy" with an aluminium case and a big fan to keep the disk cool.
On formatting the disk for the first time, errors started occuring. I opened the case to check the connections and BURNT myself on the drive. To make matters worse, I then lacerated my hand on the unfinished "aluminium" (I have a funny feeling it was a different metal). The disk drive had to be thrown away.
So avoid eBay and dodgy computer shops, and get a decent Maxtor, Seagate, Western Digital... or some other decent brand.
