I will be disputing this charge with my credit card provider but has anyone got any idea what this charge may be for?
There is a charge of £6.25 from moneysupermarket.com, Deeside on my statement. I did look at quotes for Home Insurance a few days ago but I didn't follow through with actually purchasing one.
Does anyone have any idea what this charge may be for? As far as I'm aware moneysupermarket.com got paid by the insurer, so I'm not sure why they have charged me or what for?

I can't see why you would have needed to provide your credit card number in order to get quotes (I never have) so I can't really see how it can have anything to do with that. Having said that, moneysupermarket are indeed based in Deeside so you must have provided your number to them at some time for something.0

Call Moneysupermarket and ask them. They should have the records of why they have charged you. Say something like "you have billed my credit card and I don't know why" and they should tell you. If that doesn't get the answers then your credit card can dispute it as an unrecognised charge. Hope that helps.Debt free by XMAS 2015 #027Barclaycard: £0.00Divorce: £0.00 :jKitchen: £0.00 :j0
