Help with Amazon Music please

Im sorry for what may be a silly question...
I usually listen to my music via the Amazon mp3 app on my Samsung phone, and have over 2000 songs on it. I am wanting to download some songs for a wedding onto a disk, so I have installed the Amazon music library onto my Acer Aspire E15 laptop.
My problem is, not all the music thats on my phone is on the laptop. Have I downloaded the wrong thing onto the laptop? How can I get them to have the same on both?
As you can probably tell I am not very technical, so I would appreciate any help you could give.
