Boiler replacement costs? can anyone help??
Hi there, we live in bedfordshire,
have been quoted the usually high ridiculous estimate by british gas of £3400 (inc £600 discounts!) to simply supply and fti a wall mounted potterton boiler
a local company who come very highly recommended have quoted £2200 all inc, which is £950 for boiler, a chemicl clean, replace boiler, new timing control and electrics, all chemicals, restorers and inhibitors and new bricks and vat etc
should i be able to do significantly better or is it best to go with someone hightly recommended?

A highly recommended company is always the best way to go. The price you state for a new boiler & all the additons sounds very reasonable to me.The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.
I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.0 -
