STV player on Sony TV?

How can I send STV player signal from iPad to my Sony TV 55W955BBU without using wires?

Hmm, does your TV have 'screen mirroring'? On my Sony, it's at the bottom of the input lists, as well as in amongst the apps. I think this is Sony's name for 'Miracast' which is a standardised way of screen sharing, that a lot of Android devices have.
So - does an iPad do this?
Or, buy an Android device that does
Or, buy an Apple TV that can mirror the iPad's screen, with notable exceptions like Sky Go. Maybe STV have also blocked it?

Screen mirroring works fine for photos and videos but does not support streaming of STV player. I bought a lightning to HD cable and that works well but would have preferred wireless.
