Oh, now there's a thought! A second smaller van! Now why didn't I think of that?
I think I will see if a neighbour can have the bunny in her hutch for the day so that she isn't stuck in possibly a hot car for hours. Oh, and the bird!
Having moved with pets, I would definitely agree that it's best to have them out of the way during the actual moving chaos, for their sake and for yours. If your neighbour can't take them, maybe a friend or family member?0 -
I'd suggest arranging completion for any day other than a Friday! When I worked for solicitors, it was always Friday when there would be delays on hearing that funds had been received - sometimes causing people to have to pay for hotel/storage over a weekend.0

Thanks Thorsoak. After reading on this forum, I have told my dh that the only day that we will definitely not be agreeing to complete on is a Friday.
Has anyone ever moved with just a few days notice of completion? I only ask as we are waiting to exchange, and if we could, we would move three days later, or will have to wait another couple of weeks due to work commitments. Probably unlikely to get short-notice agreement with four in the chain.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D
