Its not about which 1 is strongest , its about which 1 works for you so If you need hayfever tablets then you need to try the contains "cetirizine hydrochloride" tablets or contains "loratadine" tablets and see which ones work and for me its the Tesco allergy and hayfever relief tablets which contains "cetrizine hydrochloride" and there maybe other drugs but thats the 2 that I know about

I use Telfast 120mg tablets with beconase nasel spray. I sometimes have to have stetoids as well.
    new antihistamines are available.
if you have very severe hayfever, do ask the doctor for the latest advice, chat to the pharmacist. ...they are very helpful.

Wow Telfast 120mg sounds super duper... its not rocket science to see the difference between 120mg and I believe 25mg (benadryl plus)

*will go and research that now*

Thought asking for/giving medical advice wasn't allowed here.

The best would be to speak a pharmacist in my opinion as different meds have different results on different people.

They're different active ingredients so you can't compare dosages.

Go and speak to your GP.

I'm another one here who uses Telfast, combined with either Nasonex or Beconase and also Opticrom eye drops.Telfast 120mg is the standard prescription, and for me, most of the time that works, however, I also have the 180mg dosage for the most intense times. That's strong stuff though, and I think, from what my GP was saying, there's risks associated with arrhythmia at all levels of the drug, so if there's any potential issues relating to the heart, they check you over very carefully.

IF, after discussing it with your GP, you decide to give Telfast & nasal spray & eye drops a try, then it's worth knowing that Opticrom (or generic equivalent) is cheaper on the High Street than a prescription. My GP also recommended me to use a Vicks Nasal spray immediately before using the hayfever nasal spray, in order to 'clear out the passages' first, and give the hayfever spray drugs the optimum chance of working.

    **Go and see your GP**
