Canon inkjet printer DIY service

I have a Canon i250 inkjet printer which is telling me that the waste ink tank is full, Canon can't find it in there hearts to give me the info on how to access this so I can diy. can anyone help before I dismember the printer.

    Canon tech support would "NOT" help ( may they crash and burn)
