will applying for a credit card affect a mortgage application?

I need to transfer my credit card balance to a 0% interest type card. I'm a homeowner with a mortgage and a credit rating of 754. I'm looking to move house in the near future depending on my house selling, would it affect a mortgage application if I apply for a new credit card?

    It might well not but there is a small chance it might. If you are likely to be looking to apply for a mortgage in the next couple of months I would probably hold off.
