As the title says - since today for some annoying reason I've yet to fathom I can't get Ebay UK to load/display unless I disable AdblockPlus  if I enable AdblockPlus again all I get is a blank white page.

Anyone else having this?

I'd forgotten how annoying Ebay could be but now having to suffer flashing ads like a lunatic fruit machine .

Forgot to mention - this is in Firefox, Chrome and even Internet Explorer - each browser has Adblock plus addon/extension.

Work fine for me on Chrome with Adblock Plus installed and active.

Have you tried clearing the cache and restarting the browser ?

I hadn't tried that, thanks - but just cleared cache and same thing.

It's an odd one (for me anyway!) just asked a neighbour who's also on Plusnet like me, same setup - Firfox and Chrome both with adblock plus...and his ebay opens ok too.

So just trying to work out what's different/changed on my laptop since yesterday.

Or I could just take the ultra MSE option and stay off ebay :money::D

OK managed to solve it (I think) in Firefox at least: what I did was when on the (any) Ebay page I clicked into the AdblockPlus icon to open blockable items - and deleted the top one "pushdown ad" in the filters list and that seems to have done the trick.

Can't see the same ABP options in Chrome but not too worried about that as I mainly use ebay in FF anyway.

I had a litle play using uBlock/Chrome and the home page won't display with that fully enabled. Once logged in my ebay, searches. etc. seem to be OK and only the home page fails. uBlock has a series of options as well as block/whitelist and toggling cosmetic filtering lets the home page display OK. Quite what the toggle does I neither know nor care.

Ad blockers are pretty popular so I suspect that eBay will change whatever causes their page to break with them enabled if they think it is costing them traffic. I suspect there will be plenty that just assume the site is down rather than investigate why. I may well have myself.

I'm having exactly the same problem as the OP - use I use Firefox with Adblock Plus installed and can't access eBay UK. I've disabled it for ebay.co.uk for the time being, until they fix and update the filter lists.

    Well dang me!
Mine has just started this, it was fine this afternoon.
Firefox 37.0.1 with Adblock Plus 2.6.9
Palemoon 25.3.1 with Adblock Latitude 3.0.2

It seems to be only the start page showing blank, opening a previously saved ebay item from my bookmarks opens as normal.
    Move along, nothing to see.

I agree, spud17 - updated the list this morning and eBay is back. :)

Sounds like eBay fixed it then as I predicted they would.
