If I use Western Union online to send cash to myself abroad, will this effect my credit rating?
I am NOT using a credit card but funding directly from my bank account.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Why would you want to pay Western Union a fee to take money from your own bank?
Your bank account transactions do not appear on your credit file. Have you checked your file and read whats on there? Its only £2 unless you get a free trial. Make sure you cancel it.
Dont buy they credit score, because none of the lenders ever see that or use it.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
Thanks for the info,
Well, I am going to Japan, and most credit cards don't work in the shops there, So I couldn't think of any other way to send myself cash while I am there. Of course I will take some with me, but I receive money every month from one of my jobs and trying to get it to me while I am abroad is more difficult than I expected.
Some ATM's there will accept credit cards but it goes on your report that you were strapped for cash, plus there are charges.
It seems that WU is charging 1.5% which is very reasonable. The cheapest prepay travel card was 2.5%0
