My late daughter purchased a dozen or so Nursery Rhyme Dolls around 25 years ago. I think they may have come from the Danbury Mint. Does anybody on here know if they are worth anything. My granddaughters do not like them and find them creepy :rotfl:
Any help would be appreciated.

As a collector I would tend to avoid any of the part works type items, Danbury Mint, Franklin Mint etc as they are near worthless. There are quite. Few of these nursery rhyme ones on eBay though, and some have actually sold at what I think is a superb price, take a look at this one

Thank you for your reply and information. The dolls are not like the one in the Ebay link. Ours have a full porcelain body with painted features, fabric garments, fake hair and accessories. they are held upright by a plastic stand and are about 12" high. Any ideas?0

Update: They look similar to this one on Ebay:
eBay item number: 111632518886
Sorry, not aloud to post links.0 -

That's a shame, if they sell at all they appear to sell in the USA , some listed on ebay UK have failed to sell at all, like this one:

after fees and postage that will have left the seller with approx £10, so better than I had feared. However, virtually none are selling. If you have an ebay account it is worth waiting for free listings and just giving them a try- nothing ventured nothing gained. Otherwise try offering them as a batch on Gumtree.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
