Co-Operative Bank and Faster Payments

Hi, I have made 2 payments so far into my new Co Op Current account and both times the payments haven't been instant as expected.
Frequently the first payment to a newly set-up payee (in this case you at the new Co-Op account) will be held-up as the sending bank wants to do security checks to make sure the transaction is not fraudulent. This also applies to larger payments that follow shortly after a "test-transfer" of a quid or so, as this is a well-known modus operandi of fraudsters.
Subsequent payments shouldn't be delayed any more.0 -

Looking at the account I have made 3 payments £1 on 9th (didn't check when that credited, £800 on 16th and £800 today. Not had any delay on first Payments from FD before and most were higher than the £800 sent to Co Op, I did phone FD this morning and they have confirmed that the payment had already been sent. Todays payment still not showing up in Co Op. Hopefully as you say future payments will go through fine.0 -
Money turned up after 6 hours, hopefully next one will be quicker0
