I'd keep them in a file and laminate them. I have done this with my gcses and other Certs. I got asked to show them in interviews. The type of file I have is one with a plastic slip on the side of a leather style file so all can keep together. Laminating them keeps them nice and clean and crease free too

I have a folder I keep mine in and would suggest this.

I definitely would NOT suggest laminating them though as it will cover a lot of the security features. I'd be pretty confused if a candidate showed me laminated certificates... Definitely rather have crumpled ones!

I've shown them and have been photocopied and no problems what so ever.

I don't know what I would do if someone gave them to me like that. I wouldn't be best pleased... Why take the risk, nothing untoward will happen to them in a document wallet.

Lost mine years ago and as they are largely irrelevant i haven't bothered to get replacements, they don't even get a mention on my CV.

Not true. We often screened candidates on GCSEs, as it shows if they are good at a variety of subjects.

I love history and have a wide knowledge of the subject.

My GCSE grade for is was D. I think it was due to the fact I studied the same 20 years of history 1919-39 of Hitler and Stalin in years 9, 10 and 11 that I got bored.

If I was taught another period of history, I would been more alert in my lessons and got a B.

I have a post-degree level qualification which is required for my job, and when I started my current job I had to provide copies of my GCSE certificates for Maths and English. I wouldn't expect to need the ones for the other subjects, but I keep them nonetheless.

Actually all the interviews I've been to they have been impressed that they are laminated.
