Hello, i have moved some pictures from my camera roll into separate albums, still on the I pad, but I don't know how to get these albums to sync over to my PC. I have synced the camera roll across to the PC but the photos now in albums have gone from the camera roll.
Any ideas please?
Thanks

Upload to google drive or apples version of it and download from there.0

There seem to be over 1000 photos in Google drive now but only a small amount in the I cloud and not the folders I want.
Hmmm! I will try to sort the google drive photos out. They seem to be in no specific order really. I do wish I could have some one to one tuition on the things I really want to learn about re computers. Local classes are very broad learning vehicles and most of what they teach is not what I specifically want to learn. I will keep trying though.

Can't you just connect your iPad to your PC via a cable and copy them?Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0

No! Needs a platform to move photos. This must be something lots of I pad users do or want to do so it can't be rocket science. There doesn't appear to be anything on the I pad that lets you say copy these albums to,pc!! Or if there is I'm not seeing it. Used I cloud and Google drive which have transferred some photos but in very jumbled up format.0

Are you using a Windows based PC at all?
If so download the iCloud program for Windows here:
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201391
Enable the Photos option under iCloud on both your devices (and iCloud Photo Library under iOS) and it'll sync over WiFi to your PC and display them under Albums too. It's not your credit score that counts, it's your credit history. Any replies are my own personal opinion and not a representation of my employer.0 -

No you don't
Just cut and paste them from the iPad to wherever on your PCChange is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -
Well that seems simples.... I have watched the video several times and will give this a go tomorrow.
I presume it's ok to cut and paste rather than copy and paste as I just want to free up more room on the I pad?
If I'm satisfied that I have moved all the photos I want to keep can I then delete all the photos on the camera roll and photo stream? this would leave me with a completely new photos screen to start from scratch.
Thanks so much for your help.
I will report back if successful.0 -

If I cut and paste rather than copy and paste this should free up room on the iPad. Can I delete all the photos in the camera roll and photo stream when I am happy that they are all saved on a computer and a hard drive as well?
Thanks again for all the advice given.
Yes delete them once you have made 2 copies as your going to do.0 -
Well, they are transferred to my computer hard drive and Then I sorted them out into folders on there. Now about to save them on an external hard drive. I did have Google drive and I cloud so they are on there but the now empty albums that I saved my photos to on the I pad are still there and I'm unable to delete these empty folders.
If I delete all the photos in camera roll and my photo stream, will they then be permanently be deleted from my computers hard drive?
Flipping Norah! Who knew I could waste whole days of my life on this stuff!
Thanks for everyone's input so far. I just want to free up more space on the I pad and have a clean screen to start again but wonder if by getting rid of the photos in the 2 main areas of the I pad will be a good idea? How do you all free up space on your I pads please?
