Onkyo & Richer Sounds

Well my Home Cinema amp by Onkyo has gone on the blink after 2.5 years. First a vent - the serial number is at the back at the bottom which when you have 30 odd cables forming a rats nest going into the back makes it damned hard to get to.
On the positive, one call to Onkyo and they confirm its a known issue and so will be repaired for free with them offering to send out a box to return it to them.
Now being in for the packaging to be delivered, then again for it to be collected and a third time for it being returned repaired is a pain and being without the central unit to my setup is also a pain.
Quick call to Richer Sounds and they offer to take it in and deal with its being sent back etc and give me a loan unit whilst its being repaired.
Obviously best of all would have been if it hadnt been faulty at all but given it has gone faulty couldnt really ask for a better result.

Thankfully this is the first thing from them thats gone faulty.
From the sales perspective I do find them a little variable both in knowledge and service.0
