new boiler with external condensate pipe - does this need lagging?

    Ours runs inside until the end but still froze where it emerged from the house into a drainpipe. We had a trace heater installed, it wasn't expensive and has solved the problem.:j

    spoke to installer who said had used wider diameter pipe should prevent freezing and this is Worcesters advice

    Measue the width of it. Should be 22mm at least. If 15mm then that's too small.
