Wonga & Credit File
Hi Guys
Just read this online:
http://www.experian.co.uk/blogs/consumer-advice/will-cancelled-wonga-loans-affect-credit-ratings/
Does it mean that if you have defaults with Wonga, they will be removed from your credit history??!!
and if so, has anyone had this happen for them??!

Alternative way is @ExperianExperts & @AskJames
In the end though it is up to Wonga which ones they think were not lent appropriately and so should be removed, so I suspect only they can give you an answer specific to your case.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Bit of an update.
I contacted Wonga & Raised complaint. They accepted responsibility. About a month ago now. and just checked my report and voila! Its gone!!
No sign of them on Credit Expert. And the score thing went up!
I need to now cancel my membership! But does anyone know how to review historic...settled accounts on there? couldn't find it very easily.365 Day 1p challenge - £371.49 / 667.95

Hang on... so if you defaulted a Wonga loan they remove all trace but if you didn't the trace still remains? Being that I took out a Wonga loan on several occasions under the impression it would 'improve my score' (their words) I since found out it actually damaged it despite never defaulting or paying it back late...
If that's right it hardly seems fair! lol0 -
Yep, that is why everyone needs to complain really.
Even the 'new' lenders cannot explain themselves, though if you argue to get it removed how does that then effect your scoring?
Hope the defaulters land up in their laps because they will be unaware that their now possibly dealing with defaulters with removal allowed... how ironic0
