Barclaycard payment allocation multiple balance transfers

I have a Barclaycard that I only ever use for balance transfers (to). It currently has a balance on it from a previous 0% balance transfer. The interest free period ends in a couple of months. I'm hoping to clear it in full by then but as a contingency, would the following work:
There is still plenty of credit left on the card, and Barclaycard are offering a 0% deal on a transfer to current account. So, is there anything that would stop me taking out the transfer to current account, then using those funds in my current account to pay off the old balance transfer when the interest kicks in?
My only concern is how they will apportion the repayments. If they overlap, both will be 0% interest, so I imagine they will split it equally (obviously I'd rather the repayments went to the transfer that the 0% rate ends soonest on).
If I wait until the 0% rate has just finished on the first balance transfer, then pay a lump sum to clear it, am I right in thinking that Barclaycard will allocate all of that payment all to interest accruing balance, and leave the new balance transfer untouched?

No - they'll do it as per their terms, which is probably to the one that ends earliest. But check the t&cs to be sure.0
