Ebay and PayPal split up

Is the separation of Ebay from PayPal in July going to affect normal operation and transactions? I browsed the new T&C's and there seemed an awful lot of changes but not sure of the significance of most of them.

In short, mostly not. Ebay and Paypal have set up a formal agreement for the foreseeable future. Essentially they have agreed for Ebay to continue accepting Paypal for at least 80% of transactions. There re penalties if they go under and bonuses if they go over.

There may be some minor changes for disputes, my guess would be it won't be as straightforward to go through Paypal rather than Ebay as you can now.
