Can anyone help I have this Mrapp.ui.exe icon in my system tray and laptop is no longer holding its battery life.
Don't know if its coincidental or not.
I have removed Valued opinions notifier but this icon is still in my tray
Thanks Sam

Mrapp (if not a fake) is something Microsoft related and probably not an issue.
Laptop batteries don't have a long service life, a laptop is supposed to be a portable computer, plugged in 90% of the time and run on battery in situations where there is no way to get mains power (train for example).
They're also not supposed to be used on your lap (or any soft surface), as this overheats them and heat further reduces the battery service life, as lithium batteries can be extremely volatile when mistreated.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”

It shows as VALUED OPINION NOTIFIER in system tray even though I have uninstalled it should I just ignore?
re Battery any ideas where's best to purchase a new one
I have an Acer Aspire 5750

Try calibrating the battery.
I have an acer laptop where the battery works fine when in safe mode and lasts over 3 hours, Yet when i start windows properly it lasts 20 minutes.
So its a power management issue and not the battery.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -

Hi Bod1467
I had goggled it and came across above which is why I delete valued opinions notifier however despite successfully uninstalling program I still have the mrapp icon in system tray with valued opinion notifier tagged as name
Thanks Sam0 -
Unwanted programs can start from a number of different locations.
Startup locations in registry http://smallbusiness.chron.com/remove-startup-items-regedit-64095.html
I've also caught programs running from other locations too, Win7 has another less well known registry location where PUPs can sometimes hide (HKLM\software\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\Current\Version\Run)
Another is services.msc, find the offending service and remove it.
and the most obvious in the "start" folder inside start menu > All programs.
The next best thing to removing something, is making sure it cannot run.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
