in Credit cards
Hello All
I am going to Florida @ the end of September for 2 weeks and i am thinking about applying for a 0% on purchases for so many months credit card to use whilst i am over there as i only have $400 saved up (Not bad since i only started saving in the middle of July, But I know i'll run out of that whilst i am there), Anyway my pay this month is going to be swallowed up by Car Tax, Insurance, MOT & Service (Oh the joys of owning a car!) so i shant be able to save up any more, unless my car decideds to pass its MOT, although these past few mornings its felt a bit shakey so im a bit doubtful! Anyone have any recomendations as to what card i could apply for and would it be too early to apply now? Please bear in mind i am only 20 so i cant have a card if there is a 21 minimum age. Would i get a charge for purchasing over there because its a UK card in a US shop (Does that make sence)?
Thanks for reading any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestions

Couldnt apply for the Nationwide one as its for 25 and overs with an income of £25,000 plus (I wish!)
I did apply for the post office one but it never actually said if i had got it or not, i clicked all the buttons for the signature and that but i havent had any emails / post to confirm if the application went through let alone being accepted! Oh well ill just have to wait and see! I spose the shorter amount of time i have it the less ill spend....i hope!0 -
You can apply for the nationwide classic card if your income is lower than 25k0

Yes, the nationwide classic would be your best bet as you don't get charged for use abroad like all the other cards do.3 kids(DS1 6 Nov, DS2 8 Feb, DS3 24 Dec) a hubby and two cats - I love to save every penny I can!
