Anyone know if there is a problem with the AVG website ?
My computer spent hours last night apparently updating to a new version of AVG, but now when I ask it to update it simply tells me that the AVG website has problems and is undergoing maintenance.

Having uninstalled AVG, the replacement version refuses to download.
Is there a virus which interferes with the replacement download ?0 -
I had a problem with AVG a couple of weeks ago - when installing, claimed I had no internet connection and asked for details of my (non-existent) proxy server. Avast (along with Firefox, ping, tracert) managed to find t'internet so I installed that instead...0

Problem solved by finding somewhere with wifi and downloading from there, rather than using my own throttled 2G/3G link
I get the impression that there was an error in downloading the update.0
