We went on our first fjords cruise early May one year, and had very nice sunny weather, warm enough for shirtsleeves, and shorts when we sat our on our balcony. A couple of years later we went in mid July, it rained, and wasn't as warm as the last time.

So it's difficult to predict what the weather will do.

Best to pack layers, so you can be prepared for anything.

    Have a good time.

The Fjords are at their best in May.

Clothes wise, treat it as Britain minus two degrees. The climate is very similar that time of year. Coat should be included and may or may not be needed.

    You'll have a great time.

Rain, rain and more rain. Umbrella, full length waterproofs and wellies. But very beautiful and well worth it. Going for 2nd time this july- we have invested a fortune in rain gear as last time it was unpleasant being so wet for so long.
