Selling clothes bundles - ebay or elsewhere

I have a lot of ladies clothes to shift(own, friends & family) the plan was to ebay them individually but now nobody has the time and I have no space.

There is a lot of good stuff, either still tagged many unworn and happy to let go for £3 each but would prefer to bundle rather than let people cherry pick.

thinking of doing bundles say £150 for 50 pieces + courier, I think a bargain as the tagged price will be a lot more in each bundle

is there are other sites rather than paying ebay/paypal fees? as I would like to come out with £150 if I can.

too good for carboot, tried gumtree but getting a lot of stupid offers:(

thanks

How silly are the offers on Gumtree and what labels are you selling, High street or designer?

If High street then £3 a piece for untagged unworn is optimistic, you'll be looking at selling to dealers who will want a return on their money and £3 would be a good price for them to achieve at the end, so would probably be looking at paying 50p- £1 an item in a bundle.

You could try Facebook selling sites, but Again I suspect you will only be selling to the car booters who will be looking at less than £1 an item.

Have you tried one of the cash for clothes places?

I fear that despite the tags, selling these in job lots won't see much more than £20 a bundle.

Thanks for the input, high street but the upper end(wallis, per una, evans) + some Boden & monsoon - nothing primark

offers £1 per item so far but with tagged the bundle would be £200+ tagged. and that's with the unworn stuff.

not a facebooker but yes your right would probably be carbooters anyway

To be frank I think £1 per item for high street is good, second hand prices of clothes with no tags has no relation at all to actual cost price.

Your problem is as well that if you hold out for too long wanting more the styles will date slightly, a good dealer will know roughly how old the stock is and the older it gets the less they will pay. Although fashions don't chnage a great deal any more, they change enough to be noticed, I like Per Una and a couple of years ago every top they sold seemed to have a scalloped edge, now they are all straight again.

If it is close to current season (so less than year old) with tags then try indvidual item sales on eBay, you might get something. Anything out of fashion won't sell well.

Personally even if I spot an item I like in a bundle I don't bid as postage is usually higher and I don't want to receive all the unwanted stuff. As other said you will mainly get people buying to re-sell.
