13 unit wren kitchen cost to fit?

Options
Hi! I have just ordered a new kitchen and am looking for an idea of how much the job should cost. The room is approx. 3.3m x 3.2m (l-shaped room) At the moment (barring no unforeseen dramas) the work would involve: Replacing chipboard floor, moving a stopcock (same wall), moving a consumer unit (same wall), plaster reskim all walls, new socket for integrated fridge freezer, & install of f/f, install of integrated dishwasher, move duct for extractor (same wall), put in new skirting (2 shortest walls), change doors and architraves, 13 unit kitchen with laminate worktop - prebuilt kitchen - no flat pack

The majority of the rip out will be done by me. I have had one quote for £4.5k which didn't include any electric work, which seemed a tad high?? Any advice or guidance would be fantastic.
Thanks

I didn't ask for advice about the kitchen I have bought, I asked for advice on quoted fitting cost.

my mam has bought a kitchen from Wren and been quoted £1250 to fit it - not sure if this some sort of offer though

She is have 4 door wall units and 1/2 door micro combo unit, 5 door base units and a breakfast bar, then 5 base units on other wall and also fit sink and a cooker

    Thanks happy35
I've got a couple of people coming round to provide quotes, so will hopefully get closer to your Mum's quote than my original one.

It's not going to be £1250 for that level of work!

I'm talking about the OP. I'm hardly going to dispute a quote someone already has.

Oh no, I wouldn't dream of being able to get everything done for £1250, but I do think £4.5k is v high particularly when it doesn't even include the electrics.

OP - you clearly have very clear ideas of what you want to here. Atleast 2 people have provided very sound advise which you want to gloss over for whatever reason. Good luck

  • Just out of interest, which 2 posts do you believe provide sound advice or answered my question "how much the job will cost"

I have bought the kitchen and won't be asking for a refund.

I have said I do not expect the fitting and other work to cost £1250, but feel £4.5k is too high.

Usually I have found MSE a helpful place to ask others for advice, but for some reason, both you and adamg have chosen to ignore my question, not sure why, I'm sure you have your reasons.
