hello
I have claim on some bi folding doors which where brought in 2013. I have only just learnt of section 75, I sent off the template from MSE and got a call today saying, I need to provide the invoice or provide i got the doors at thats price.
i spoke to the company who do not have a copy. they supply doors/windows and bi folding doors. the lady sent me her email address but i dont have any proof to send her.
the transaction shows on the card statement - thats all i have.
Any advice?

The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.
I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest. I dont want to profit from someone's misery.

more info:
doors are faulty, doors dont fit the frame, the frame came with the doors.
Bank agent also said they will most likely send out someone to check the doors, which is fine with me.The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest. The card statement is indeed proof of purchase so you should be okay with that.
The company are obliged by law to keep copies of transactions for tax/vat purposes for 7/8 years so they are telling you porkies. They should be able to locate it in a minute or so on their accounts system.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I've never known a bank to send people out to check anything for a Section 75 claim. However, they may ask you to get an independant report with regards to the issues you are claiming.0

If you are still on speaking terms with the merchant why are you pursuing S75 rather than directly with the merchant?0

was it supply only?Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

yes the door and its frame, along with the fixtures was supplied only. The fitters was experianced door/window fitters and charged £400 (just to fit the doors). since then we have had a few trademen have a look but no one can fix the doors. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest. the last time i spoke to them, i only ask if they kept the informtion, i did not go into details of who i am.
the time before that, we were still in the 12 months warrently and they said it was the fitter fault or that the glass has moved etc... until we were out of the 12 month period. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest. How did you pay the fitters?
Was it paid all in one or seperate?0 -
I get the feeling it was x2 transactions, which I also feel that bet the fitter didn't do it correct.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

the fitters did the work very well. we had them put in another bi folding door and a back door they did it very well. they also did work for a few different window/door/convservatory companies, so they very often fitted this type of product.
even if they had fitted it worng, which i do not believe they did, we have had other trades people who have taken the doors fully apart and still no one can make them work. also the fitters charged a lot and we had to book them in advance as they were busy. The rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer - I was in my late 20s when I figured out what this meant.I neither take or enter agreements which deal with interest.
