FA Cup Final

BRING ON MAY 30TH! COYG!

On a serious note though, I'm hoping to get tickets when they get released for the final. There has been a lot of chat about the fact only 22,500 tickets will go to each team despite Wembley being a 90,000 person capacity. Shame on FA for prioritising 40,000 sponsors and thinking of cash rather than the true fans. I've seen the gunners raise the cup plenty, but imagine if you were a Villan? 15 years since they've got this far and only a small amount of their fanbase will be in with an affordable chance. Not to mention 3rd party sites selling tickets at £600 a pop at least! Ridiculous!

Anyway I'm new to this foruming thing but I've always gone on Money Saving Experts to see what deals were up and figured it might just make sense to ask outright - seems like a good place to hang out!

So my question here is: does anyone know if there is any good ways of getting tickets? Any people buy off touts at the semi-finals that can give me a ball park figure of how much it would be if I was unsuccessful getting them through my club?

Also London = expensive. I need a place to stay, happy to splash out and get a hotel but any deals around where to stay, tips on keeping travel costs down, good but cheap eats - I'm all ears! Hopefully this will be a momentus moment for the arsenal and i want it to be a weekend to remember - but i'm not made of money either!

Any tips or tricks appreciated.

After Sundays result the final is a day to forget, i'm going to find something interesting to do like watch paint dry.
Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

At least Stevie can enjoy his birthday watching the match, your 1st goal was lucky, but perhaps Balotelli was onside, hence the correct score :o

Hi, fellow Gooner i went to the 1978 F A Cup Final and got a seat ticket of six pound off a ticket tout outside Wembley for wait for it six pound.

The 1979 F A Cup Final i worked for someone who knew someone who had a block of ten and i paid eight pound for seat then.

Not been since but the Old Wembley with 100,000 people in was a sight not to be forgot

The fans should always get priories but football is now a business.

Anyways you Gooner, we LFC fans have a "Liverpool Spares" account on twitter and get ticks that way.

You should also have a Arsenal account.

    comon Villa !!!

Christ! Its not like that anymore. Wish football didnt always have to be about the money. Can think of one time when it isn't, when i'm at the pub with my mates smashing pints chanting. Hopefully me and the boys can get to do this down the stadium this year. Suspense is killing me with these tickets!

Why would you expect the FA to care about fans when the clubs don't? They are all the same, no professional football club or professional football organisation gives a damn as long as the money keeps rolling in.
    It's someone else's fault.
