My mum's about to turn 50. We are hoping to get her a pair of expensive (not money saving) earrings but I would also like to get her something more personal. A friend suggested an embossed leather notebook personalised with her initials, which I think she'd like as she loves scribbling down ideas for all sorts of things but I can't find one that doesn't cost the earth- Aspinal and Smythson both pesonalise their journals but anyone else know of any cheaper options... or any other ideas? All welcome.
