Multiple agent confusion

Good morning,
Would anybody know the rules around multiple agents, specifically where there are two agents and an offer goes to each seperately? We have offered with one agent (who has sold our house) and someone else has offered through the other (online, cheap) agent. Obviously the vendor will prefer to accept an offer through the cheap agent. Can we withdraw our offer and go through the cheap agent too? The other offer is currently higher but we can afford to go a bit higher again.

The contract the vendor signed with the agent you've offered through will almost certainly make clear that they will be due a fee from the vendor should you end up buying the property. So whilst you could withdraw your offer from one and try the other, it doesn't really change the situation as far as the vendor is concerned.
Therefore I suppose what you really need to do is make an offer that is greater than the savings the owner will make by selling through the agent with the lower fee.
