I'm new to this comping lark, but the terms of this seem a bit outside the spirit of competitions to me. Brothers can get all the publicity for the comp, with what must be a fairly decent chance that the prize wont actually be won (how many people just throw the caps away?):

"CAMPERVAN WILL BE SOURCED UPON PRIZE BEING WON...

...ALTHOUGH ALL PRIZES WILL BE AVAILABLE TO BE WON, THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT THEY WILL ALL ACTUALLY BE WON."

Is this normal?

Dunno.

But it doesn't actually matter for the purposes of this part of the forum - which is about alerting people to comps they might want to enter.

You can enter or not. And if you win you will get the prize. How they source it is up to them.

Questioning the ethics of the company involved might be better-placed in a different part of the site.
