  • Good morning all,

Another lovely day here, and we are hoping to have a go at the back garden. It is very long so we have to pace ourselves, so the strimmer to start with and then see how we go.

TA another tiring day for you both, I hope everything goes well

Csarina sometimes we have to tell them as it is, because they can't see it themselves, it is always about "ME" . Take care of yourself

ELONA I thought about you both last night, I hope DH is more comfortable. I know how frightening it can be when it is just the 2 of you and one is very poorly, I hope you have someone close by who you can talk to if you need to.

DUMPLING, it might be time to try and take control of your situation if you feel able. If you don't like this new fella I can't think he s going to be able to help you.

Camelot congrats on the interview, you did very well to be short listed out of so many

Try to have a reasonable day all

Elona - thinking of you and your family x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

Good luck at the hospital and hope you don't have too ong a day of it.

    Camelot

    Good luck with the interview.

Candlelight, Molly, TA and others sending good wishes- DDs have been great, one came over for a couple of nights and stayed over and another is coming up from Oxford tomorrow to take us to scan results.

Managed to take out recycling boxes and also hang out a load of washing, load dishwasher and give a quick clean to a couple of loos and basins.

Got some cold drink and a few mouthfuls of tea into DH but no food yet as he keeps falling asleep.

On laptop next to him so he is not left alone and everything else can just sort itself out. It is going to need me and DD both to get him downstairs on Thursday morning and I can't risk it on my own.

Have some beef, mash and peas which would do for lunch and defrosted YS steak for tonight with mixed veg and mash.

If I have enough fish in the freezer then could make a fish pie for tomorrow night so will have a look later.

    Hugs to all

    Had a successful day.:j

Hair cut and then the interview which went really well and I got appointed. One day a week locally teaching a national qualifcation, that's just enough to keep me in wine and diesel. :j

Then had my surgical procedure - it took longer for the local to take effect than it did for the excision. Only got steri-strips and two paracetamol. Pain hasn't kicked in yet though I am expecting it.

Delivery company rang about the wood. They wanted to bring a 22 ton lorry down to me  road is 'weak' and limited to 18 ton so they went off to find a 7 ton one and deliver on Thursday. The bloke who rang was really lovely so not stressed about them.

Now I need a cup of tea and will sit outside to catch the last of the sunshine. I think I spotted a swallow or two earlier but am not 100% sure.

Hope everyone else has had a good day too.

  • Another lovely day today. At the surgery again, another herparin injection at teatime and upped the warferin. We have another appointment tomorrow, so I guess there will be more of the same.

OH rang one of the complexes we are interested in to see if we can go and have a look round, its flats, not bungalows we are going tomorrow morning after we have been to the surgery. Its just on the outskirts of the town and hopefully Aldi are going to build just across the road, which will be good.

OH has been okish today, he did go to bed before lunch saying he felt tired, but has been up all afternoon. Giving him his heart pill at the same time as the anti emetic is working he has not complained of nausea the last 2 days.

We went to bed at 9pm last night, the light was out by 10pm, both slept well. Running up and down stairs is very tiring!!
  • Lovely day here again :D

Got a really rotten cold with a hacking cough, and had to use the nebuliser last night for the first time in months.

Did potter in the greenhouse and put some more seeds in compost, but that is all I have done today.

Salad made up and HM pizza just going in the oven so it will be ready when DH gets home.

    elona and csarina ((((Hugs))))
