I second the mini oven linked to above. I also use an actifry and a halogen oven. The halogen oven has more space to cook food in than the mini oven.

The council may have a welfare department who can help with your debts?

They're quite handy. I recently bought one for my elderly dad after he pulled the door off his oven, stood holding it looking confused (actually, like a total plank :rotfl: ) then dropped it on the floor

He loves it,does his roasts etc in it and it cooks quicker and cheaper too

We have a full size cooker (electric) but rarely use it. We have a halogen oven and induction hob plus combi microwave. As well as saving time these things are cheaper to run than full size cookers.
  • Slow cookers are cheap to buy and cheap to run. You can cook so much in them, from soups, stews, curries to desserts - should practially negate the need for a full size cooker.
