Travel Insurance for a 17 Year Old

My 17 year old daughter is travelling to Disneyland Paris in a couple of weeks and I have just found out she has to get her own travel insurance.

However when I've tried to get a quote on line using the comparison sites recommended, I've not been able to because she's under 18.

Is anyone able to recommend a company that covers under 18s
please?

Try TopDog. I just bought insurance for my 17 year old daughter on there today for a day trip she is taking at the weekend to Switzerland. She is also off to Mallorca in the summer with friends and again we used this company.

They currently have a 20% discount on single trip insurance as well. The code I used was emailed to us. I think it can be used again. It was TD415.

You should be able to get it on holidayextras.com. We took my daughters friend on holiday last year, that's where her parents got her insurance from. £5 for 10 days in Italy.

I've just looked for insurance for DS' 17 year old friend for 1 week in Europe in July. I went through Compare the Market. The cheapest quote was with Coverwise at £4.90. Top Dog mentioned by a previous poster was £6.48.

By taking a policy through Compare the Market you get access to Meerkat Movies which gives 2 for 1 entrance to the cinema on Tuesday or Wednesday for a year. Very money saving.
