I am considering a PPI complaint for my credit card that was opened in 1999 following going through my paperwork at the weekend and finding that my SAR that I sent ages ago when I was starting claiming back excess bank charges included credit card statements which showed I had been paying PPI for around 7 years. I also found the letter that showed that I had cancelled it as I didn't need or want it. When I sent the SAR I was only interested in my current account although I filed these away.

My first question is can I put a complaint in for this card as it was opened so long ago although I do still have the credit card and a large balance on it too?

My second question is who do I complain to - Lloyds or TSB now that they are two different companies? I think I read somewhere that Lloyds have taken on all PPI complaints but I moved to TSB when the companies changed.

Any help most appreciated :)
