Hi
I'm going to Venice in the summer and want to do a evening ghost walk. I've been to Venice several times but I've never done an oragnised walking tour and I'm thinking of booking the one below:
Is Viator a reputable company (part of Tripadvisor)?
How does it work - ticketwise - I don't have a smart phone, do I just print the receipt and turn up with it on the night?
Is this particular walk any good?

Thanks

I used Viator to book a couple of tours in the US for my dad. Some were fine, some cancelled. Viator just take your booking for other companies who run the tours. He went on a few trips with no problems, the 3rd party emailed quickly with details of pick ups etc. he had a couple that didn't run the trips due to not having sufficient numbers and they tended to cancel quite close to the date of the trip (they were quite dull looking trips to places in the desert).
He just printed his email confirmation and took it with him and didn't have any problems.0 -
We have done this walk in Venice with Viator. We really enjoyed it and saw quite a few things we wouldn't have seen for ourselves. We met on the top of the Rialto bridge. The guide was Venetian born and very interesting. I just printed off the booking confirmation.0

viator are just an agent. we did a hilarious with them in Singapore. The planned guide sent his mate as he was busy. We then stooped at a club where the guide got off to argue with his mate as he wanted to go home. He lost and had to continue. he then left the tour half an hour before the end- he seemed quite intoxicated. His commentary was amusing if inaccurate. We and some australian guests really enjoyed the drama but really wasnt professionalJune challenge £100 a day £3161.63 plus £350 vouchers plus £108.37 food/shopping saving
