I know that there is a great empathy, on these boards - both DFW and the Bankruptcy Board, so I don't think that you will mind me asking you to click on the following link, which clearly shows that there are more important things than money or debt:

I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Really does put things into perspective. Might hopefully make people think before having a drink and getting behind the wheel.
I was hit by a drunk driver several years ago, and whenever I hear of such shocking news it makes me feel so lucky to be here. I can't imagine what post and their friends and families are going though.
This shouldn't STILL be happening.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.84 December 25

I hope that the person who did this pleads guilty and spends time in jail. I'm not a life for a life person but I believe that as adults we have to take responsibility for our actions.
It put my problems into perspective.Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0 -

It certainly does put everything into perspective, that's really sad news and I hope the OP has lots of support. My thoughts are with the OP and his friends and family.DFW Nerd no. 496 - Proud to be dealing with my debts!!0

Like others have said it really does put things into perspective and highlights whats really important in life. Its easily done to forget things that matter and get caught up in trivial non important things going on in your life.
My thoughts and condolences go out to postthinking and his family & friends.LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0 -
