I know that there is a great empathy, on these boards - both DFW and the Bankruptcy Board, so I don't think that you will mind me asking you to click on the following link, which clearly shows that there are more important things than money or debt:

Thank you for your time and thanks to a fellow DFW - Posthinking - for having the courage to post.

Edit 09.08.07: PLEASE GO TO POST 24 FOR AN UPDATE - THANKS

Really does put things into perspective. Might hopefully make people think before having a drink and getting behind the wheel.

I was hit by a drunk driver several years ago, and whenever I hear of such shocking news it makes me feel so lucky to be here. I can't imagine what post and their friends and families are going though.

    This shouldn't STILL be happening.

I agree with you twinklie. People should think of the all too often tragic consequences of drinking and driving.

I hope that the person who did this pleads guilty and spends time in jail. I'm not a life for a life person but I believe that as adults we have to take responsibility for our actions.
It put my problems into perspective.
Find out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)

It certainly does put everything into perspective, that's really sad news and I hope the OP has lots of support. My thoughts are with the OP and his friends and family.

  • Like others have said it really does put things into perspective and highlights whats really important in life. Its easily done to forget things that matter and get caught up in trivial non important things going on in your life.

My thoughts and condolences go out to postthinking and his family & friends.
