The same day.

A tip for you, don't pay it all in then you won't have to go back to the bank/atm later to take it out.

^^^^i think the reason she asked this is because if someone else pays into your account then shed want to know when its available to withdraw.

For EG someone pays you on ebay and makes payment into your bank account....

so to answer OP's question...yes if you pay at the counter then its available instantly...if its paid in at a cash machine then its next day.

I think that if it is one of the cash machines that count the money it is an instant credit
