Cavendish Online lump sum vs monthly saving plan

I'm registering on Cavendish Online (stocks and shares ISA). I have these options:

1. Invest a lump sum
2. Set up a Monthly Savings Plan

I would like to pick the first one, but also invest variable amounts over time. Is there a limit to how often and a minimum to how much I can invest on the next lump investments?

Or am I better off doing the monthly plan?

Well 15240 per year is one limit... It's the maximum you can add to isa this tax year. The only 'way around' that one is to transfer existing cash (or shares) from other Isa's.

other than the isa limit you can invest however you like with the lump sum. there won't be a limit of how often.

you can always start with lump sum and later set up a monthly plan if you wish

    I do both.

The minimum lump sum with Cavendish is £1000. However, this can be divided up as you please across funds.
