I can see Bank of Scotland accounts on Halifax online banking

I just opened a new Bank of Scotland Vantage account, and can see it on my Halifax online banking. I know this is a hangover from the HBOS days, and to be honest it's very convenient for me to see all accounts on my Halifax app.
I just want to check I'm not missing anything important from not being registered with BoS online banking... are the services exactly the same for me if using the Halifax platform? Even things like Cashback Extras etc...?
Thanks for any help.

They all use the same online system.0

I get different cashback offers depending whether I am logged into Halifax or BoS. As far as I am aware other services are the same.0

You do realise you can log in on the BoS platform with your Halifax details?I just want to check I'm not missing anything important from not being registered with BoS online banking...
The Vantage account will be at the top, with your Halifax accounts below...ie in reverse current account order.0 -
Halifax isn't a separate bank, it's just a division/trading name of Bank of Scotland.0

It's useful occasionally when BoS or Halifax website has a technical problem and you can switch from the one that's down to the one that's working.0

Do you have to be a BOS customer we well for this to work?0

I have current accounts with Lloyds, Halifax and BoS and yet only see the accounts for the bank I have logged onto when I go online.
Is this not 'normal'?0 -
I can see both Halifax and BoS when I log in to either online banking but I've found that if I want to open a new account, I have to have logged in from the 'right' site - otherwise everything else seems possible from either site (I've never checked cashback offers).
It's worth trying to see if you can login to BoS using your Halifax details. I think it depends on how old your Halifax account is. I don't think this works for newer accounts - so if it doesn't, you would need to set up a new BoS internet login.0
