    OK, what sort of valid complaint reasons are there?

    It's so long ago that I can't remember - I know I must have got my MBNA card in approx 2000-2001 and my Halifax was before that I'm sure.

    For credit card PPI, things like work sick pay covering you for a substantial period or the policy not covering you if self-employed (some are particularly onerous making it hard to claim on them) - basically why you feel it wasn't suitable for you

    People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
