Hi, I have bought an LG smart tv, and then discover that I need a VGA connection/port, to connect my PC (7-8 years old). I does not have one !
I am told that a new graphics card would sort this, but cant do this myself and therefore dont want the messing about.
Will this cure my problem ?

Will the graphics card in the pc be OK ? I can watch videos etc on the existing small dedicated monitor, so I assume it will be OK ?
The ebay item has two leads (one for video and one for audio ?), so just ! plug into one HDMI and one usb and it will all work ok ????
Advice please

I refer you to my earlier answer:

It's very easy to add a graphics card and there are plenty of help videos on youtube that can assist.

I suspect you have an nVidia GeForce 6150SE in your system which is a very poor graphics processor. The one I have suggested is 10x the 3d performance and will work at 1080p which I suspect your current card may not. The best solution for you is to add the graphics card, you will also see a performance boost.
The card goes in the long black slot (above the two short black slots) next to the silver circular battery.
