British Gas Fixed Price May 2015 - When can I leave?
Apologies if this sort of question has been asked before. I'm sure it has but cannot find listed in forums despite a quick search
Anyway coming out of the above at end of May. I'd always assumed a contract ending on 31st May meant I couldn't leave before that date but reading someone on the web I see that suppliers now have to let customer know their options between 42-49 days before the end date. That means BG should be emailing me in the next 24 hours.....
And also that because I'm less than 49 days from contract ending I can now start the switching procedure?
Any help much appreciated

Ok thanks. I'll start the process now. However does anyone know when British Gas has to let me know my contract is ending? I thought it was at the minimum 42 days mark but their terms and conditions just states they will do it before the contract ends0
