+1 for the savings account idea. A Tesco Bank e-saver would accept payments in, but the only way to get the money out is through online banking, which requires a username, password, two digits from a security number, and a one-time code sent to your mobile that's only valid for 10 minutes. Nice and safe.0

This is of course not true as the Tesco savings accounts are one of the few savings accounts that do allow DDs, just in the same way that current accounts do, and as has been discussed on this forum countless times..
Uhh, Tesco savings accounts allow deposits by DD, but you can't set up a DD from them.0
