  • Thanks for the advice guys.
So is there anything i can do in my current circumstance?
Apart from changing my electoral role address every few weeks which is usually a BNB or a hotel, basically i cannot vote or take out a credit card?
Its cool though at lease payday lenders will still lend to me and i have the same voting rights as a prisoner! lol!
  • lol i think my missus would have something to say about me marrying my MIL! HAHA!
  • Oh yeah sorry for not making that clear. I'm not married to my girlfriend i used MIL as a figure of speech.
I'm using my girlfriends mothers address.

problem is that i'm technically 'homeless' but i should still have a right to vote. and i should be able to use a credit card, for example, whilst using a care of address.

I was in a similar situation when i was in the army and i've never really changed life style. My life style was catered for when i was in service as i could register through the army now i don't have that luxury and need to find an alternative...
How about a PO Box can i register through that?

If you want a right to vote and have a credit card, rent your own property and the problem is solved. This is how it works in the real world.

Why not use your girlfriends address or is she on benefits too and this would cause more or the same issues?

I want the right to privacy, but I have to declare myself at the address I live at for voting and credit purposes, not my mums address that I used when I was in the military, not my mother in laws, but the actual address I live at.
