First National PPI

Options
I was mis sold PPI in 2002 by First National and still have the original paperwork. I understood that GE Money, Croxley Green, Watford were the Administrators for First National loans. However, after writing to them they responded eight weeks later advising they didn't recognise my account number and suggested I should approach Santander in Leeds.

Not sure if I am being given the right advice, or the run around. I would be grateful if any member could let me know how I should take this issue forward.

Ge sold parts of first national to Santander about 5-6 years ago, so liability for those accounts would of passed to Santander as part of the sale.

Liability for the sale will not necessarily have passed to them because it was pre regulation.
