Hi,

My Plusnet line rental saver is due to expire on 26th May. If I pay upfront for another 12 months it will be £155.88 (equivalent to £12.99pm).

Has anyone spoken spoken with Plusnet to see if they can offer any good deals on Line rental saver?

Thanks
MS

  • Hi,

havn't managed to get a reduction on line rental saver, but when mine was due for renewal last November, phoned them and said I was thinking of changing to TalkTalk, I actually was.

They gave me a reduced price on broadband, and as I have been with them for years, and happy with their service decided to stay.

Just phone them and haggle, I find them friendly and not pushy.

One reason I don't go with Plusnet Line Rental Saver is you do not get the evening and weekend calls.

If that doesn't matter to you then the £155.88 sounds quite good as it's £15.95 per month otherwise.

I was already on that, so was able to retain it on renewal.

I do get evening and wkend calls in my package. It was standard when I took my line out with Plusnet.

If you take an Evenings & Weekends package and then make more than about 30 to 40 minutes of weekday daytime calls per month to 01, 02 and 03 numbers you will spend more money than if you had taken the deal with Anytime inclusive calls.

...but Plusnet still allow the use of 18185 (or other) indirect access suppliers.Keeps the cost of daytime calls down.:)
