Gmail, and Outlook.com are good.0

I'd recommend Gmail over anything else.0

Same here, I have 4 Gmail accounts for various things: work; leisure; close friends; etc.0

Yep, Gmail works fine ... well, except when Virgin Media use it for their email provider.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0

mail.com is a good alternative.I am not a cat (But my friend is)0

GMail is great if you don't mind about Google knowing even more about you then they do already (and let's face it, they have fingers in every tracking pie). As a basic mailbox it's fine, but advanced features like 'priority mailbox' make life much easier if you spend a bit of time learning and training them0

Want something possibly more private, yet free?

I don't think you can get much better than GMX.0

Another vote for Gmail.
Outlook/hotmail put far too much in spam for my liking. Lots of legitimate emails have to be confirmed as not spam.0 -
