PPI Claim First National

I was mis sold PPI by First National in 2002 and still have the original paperwork. I have written to GE Money,Croxley Green Watford, as I understood that they were the Adminstrators for First National Loans. However, after eight weeks they have responded and informed me that they do not recognise my account details and suggested that I should now write to Santander Finance Ltd PO Box 700, Leeds LS992BD.
Not too sure whether I am being given the correct advice. I would be grateful if any member could suggest the best way to take my claim forward.
Thanks

Write to Santander with complaint and copies of paperwork you have.0

Thanks very much for the advice - thinking I was just going to get fobbed off, as I couldn't find any info confirming Santander were the Administrators for First National.
Lucky I had the original paperwork.0
