You need to speak to Clydesdale bank as they processed the switch which comes with a guarantee.

I would speak to your employer also to check what details they have.

    To add to this:
    • It was a full switch - needed to qualify for the £150 incentive.
    • I would suggest you contact both Clydesdale and your payroll department - giving each other's details and ask that it be sorted.
    • Sounds like it's the payroll department as [with the exception of SWIFT and CHAPS payments] the redirection is essentially automated.

Contrary to badger's post - it is the new bank that makes the guarantee and is your official port of call to sort out any problems. (Informally, it can be easier to contact the old bank sometimes)

In terms of trying to sort it out:

    - did you do a full or partial switch i.e. is your old account closed?

Or that payroll simply didn't send it

    Hi guys,

Just to let you know I finally have resolution to this.

Thanks for all the posts on this matter.

After raising a complaint with both Banks - within a few hours CD had all of a sudden had a payment of the missing wage come through (although the complaints resolution officer maintains this merely a coincidence).

    Lloyds have given me £25.00
    Clydesdale have compensated me £75.00.

Pretty happy with this in the end.

I anticipate my next wages on the 1st May to see if this continues :)

    Cheers

Presumably you've also notified the agency of the correct details.

You can but hope they keep messing things up month by month - their compensation would make a lovely salary increase for the next 35 months :)

Glad it was resolved for you with a nice compensation.

Hi Badger, Yup - New details now onto their payroll system.

    Shouldn't be any more problems.

Haha - Yes it would, another 35 months have made their switching incentive even better!
